1940s: Roger Bardwell: Poem by a pupil: Kilquhanity’s Jubilee
The Blarney wall newspaper: Lines to Be Chanted . . .
Roger Bardwell was a pupil in the 1940’s He contributed to the Jubilee booklet although I have no idea as to how old he was while he was there. Here are his reflection on the place, long after had had left.
Famously, in 1946, Roger also wrote the following epic poem under the pseudonym of Pronto. He was editor of one of the school's newspapers - The Blarney - at the time.
The entire poem was also published in the Jubilee booklet.
