1965: Kilquhanity Win Second Stewartry Youth Drama Festival

‘After remarking that ‘The Proposal’ was the best play he had seen in 20 years as an adjudicator, Mr Mitchie said the setting was good, the atmosphere just right, and there were many other small points which helped towards the most successful presentation by the Kilquhanity school. It was a great performance and he had run out of superlatives in its praise.’
