John’s exclamation mark
John would usually mark correspondence with a numbered day/date of reply. I note with some amusement the definitive exclamation mark which I assume reflects John’s view – as keen Scottish Nationalist - on Royalty. And his probable dismissing of the Scottish Education Department’s thinking that a school like Kilquhanity would in any way be interested in ‘a day off’ as kids attended the school day through their own choice, everyday.
